Medical Imaging (Radiology)
Medical imaging covers all means of obtaining and visualising images using various physical phenomena (magnetic resonance, ultrasound wave reflection, radioactivity, X-ray absorption, etc.).
These technologies make it possible to visualise the physiology or metabolism of the human body.
Medical imaging covers all of them, bringing together what used to be called nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging and radiology. If you have a condition affecting a specific part of your body, the doctor will be able to make a diagnosis more easily using medical imaging and begin treatment if necessary.
