Access to consultations

Outpatient clinics at CHIREC bring together a large number of specialist doctors, specialist nurses and paramedical staff.

In addition, some of our specialists receive patients in private practice.

Each site has its own specific organisation. The arrangements that are common to all the sites are set out below:

  1. Consultations are by appointment only.
  2. Whenever you come for an appointment, please bring your SIS card and identity card.
  3. If you have had radiological investigations, blood tests or other investigations in a hospital or medical centre outside CHIREC, please bring them to your consultation.
  4. If there is any problem or you are unable to attend, please be kind enough to inform the relevant department at  
        the earliest possible opportunity.
  5. We must inform you that most of the doctors and paramedical staff are not regulated by agreement.
