Surgical preassessments
CHIREC has developed a system of medical and nursing surgical preassessments at some of its sites.
These are done to ensure that you receive the best possible care.
They also make it possible to reduce the length of your stay by organising it very precisely.
During these consultations full information is collected about your state of health, your medical and surgical history, your lifestyle, etc.
The nurse also carries out additional investigations as needed: blood tests, electrocardiogram, etc.
You will also be told everything that you need to know for your admission to hospital. If you have any questions, you can ask the anaesthetist and nurse.

The staff will arrange all the investigations that your doctor has requested and also a consultation with the anaesthetist.
