Patient satisfaction and well-being      

The Quality Unit analysed the "Hospital patient satisfaction" questionnaires. We received a response of 16.1% for CHIREC, which is an exceptional and therefore highly significant figure.

Personnel satisfaction and well-being    

The results of the "Satispro" questionnaire that was sent out to all personnel were as follows: 52% of respondents with an average of 15 years in service.

 

Doctor satisfaction and well-being 

To evaluate "Prescriber satisfaction", a new standardised questionnaire will be produced for medico-technical services (nuclear medicine, radiology and the laboratory) in 2010.

We have also evaluated the "Satisfaction and well-being of doctors at CHIREC". This questionnaire, which was intended for all accredited and locum doctors, is currently being analysed.

 

Patient safety

Risk prevention (e.g. ulcers, falls and medications) was extended to all sites in 2009. A total risk prevention system is still in place at Braine-l'Alleud.


CHIREC is continuing its involvement in the federal project "Safety's Patient". Improving care in the EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT for older people and children (setting up a "triage" service).
