The CHIREC Obesity Clinic was founded in 2006 and carries out more than 200 operations each year.
Our centre also treats patients from the Netherlands, the UK, the United States and the Middle East.

The operations are based on two principles:
- reducing stomach capacity (restrictive effect),
- reducing the absorption of food with a high energy value (sugars and fats) (malabsorption effect).
