Founded in 1965 within the Brussels Neurosurgical Centre, the Neurosurgery unit at CHIREC is heir to one of the first neurosurgery units in the capital. Due to the high-quality, personal care given to our patients, we have become one of the largest private neurosurgery centres in Belgium.
Thanks to the ongoing collaboration between neurologists and neurosurgeons, we offer multidisciplinary management that allows us to provide treatment using the very latest surgical techniques and the latest developments in modern technology, across the whole of both neurosurgery and neurology – and we have been doing so for almost 40 years.
Despite the highly technical side of neurosurgery, we never forget to put the patient first.
Our philosophy is to promote the direct relationship between the patient and his surgeon, and thus to practise medicine with a human face.
