Adapted physical activity is at the core of the care provided to patients with chronic pain.
It provides both direct and indirect benefits on pain and quality of life:
- Pain reduction
- Improved muscle strength and endurance
- Reduced fatigue
- Improved mood and cognitive function
- Restored confidence in one’s body and physical abilities
Sessions are organized in small groups and last 1 hour.
They include:
- A pool-based session focused on movement and muscle relaxation
- A physiotherapy session focused on strengthening, coordination, and mobility
Recommended clothing: comfortable sportswear suitable for physical exercise.
